(1991) First Prize in the National Ballet Competition of Spain.

(2000) Prixe Benois de la Danse as the leading male dancer in the world for his performance in Other Dances by Jerome Robbins.

(2002) National Dance Award of Spain in the Interpretive Category.

(2004) Zapatilla de Plata" in Almería (Spain) and "Ruleta de Oro" Prize in the Casino de Santander (Spain), for his professional career.

(2004) Nominated for the Prince of Asturias Awards. This nomination came from the Spanish Federation of Professional Dance Associations.

(2009) The Galileo Award Foundation Committee formed by Jack Lang, Irene Papas, Irina Strozzi, Marco Giorgetti and Alfonso de Virgiliis gave to Ángel Corella the Galileo 2000 Award for "his exceptional talent".

(2009) Ángel Corella gives his name to the High School Ángel Corella, placed in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid), town where Mr. Corella lived his childhood and youth.

(2011) "Micrófono de Oro" Award from the Federación de Asociaciones de Radio y Televisión. Spain.
